Extraordinary is
that little extra

Our policies are the foundations that support everything we do at Roots. They set out clear, consistent expectations and guide our practice, ensuring every child is cared for in a safe, nurturing, and wellorganised environment.

Policies help our team work together with confidence and consistency, so children experience calm routines, clear boundaries, and high standards of care every day. They also ensure we meet statutory requirements while always keeping children’s wellbeing, learning, and happiness at the heart of our decisions.

Below is a list of all the policies we have in place at Roots. They are reviewed annually and when needed due to changes in legislation or policy. We are happy to share digital or printed copies of any policy with parents who would like to read them. For ease, a selection of our core parent policies is available to view online — please see the bottom of this page.
